What are MP3’s? You see advertisements everyday offering you free ones. You know that there are machines that use these things to do something. Maybe they are a battery, a new battery from the orient that makes MP3’s three times over. If they are so great, why do people give them away free then? MP3’s would be the future, if the year was 2001. MP3 are simply a file extension that denotes that this particular file is an audio file. Any audio file just floating about is not an MP3. Unless it says .mp3 then you are messing with something not bad but not great. There are other ways to save audio files and they suffer in quality for utility. MP3 is the archduke of audio files. Music, speeches, books and the list goes on what can be converted to an MP3. These files can be played in little devices like the Walkmans of yore, save without switching out tapes. As an added bonus unlike the tenuous shake-ability of the Discman, one can take ones MP3 player for a jog wherein the Discman one had to remain still and if one breathed causing a fraction of movement the CD skipped and made that odd whirring noise much to ones disparagement.
Another great thing is MP3’s are cheap! One cannot get much more inexpensive than FREE!!!!! You know what “Free” rhymes with, “We” and “MP3”. We love getting MP3’s should be mantra in acquiring ones favorite songs and audio books. With getting an MP3 player to boot you can cram anywhere from a gig to fifty gigs of songs on a device. Try to fill fifty gigs of song space you can’t! Right now since everyone has one already, MP3 Players are cheap, not free cheap, but still rather reasonable. After picking one up join the song listening party of the planet before the future passes by and you wake up and its 2004! MP3’s are a great way to take the already massive collection one might have of CD’s and convert them digitally. Saving room in the closet, I mean several shoeboxes of Paul Anka CDs takes the space from the stars of the closet, the clothes. After taking all those worthless pieces of plastic and turning those into little files to put on an MP3 player you can now take your entire CD collection with you wherever you go. Except that Men without Hats CD, you can just leave that in the box.
